After Effects tutorials

In this tutorial we will be adding a CG flowing water element to our previously stabilized footage. Through the use of Displacement Maps, Animation, Expressions and Particles, we will blend the digital elements into the footage for a realistic final product.

In this tutorial we will take a look at the process of stabilizing footage using Adobe After Effects built in Stabilization feature. We will also look at how to apply a graphical element to the stabilized footage and then how to reverse the stabilization, to give a motion tracked effect to the graphics.

In this tutorial we will be taking real-world footage, shot specifically for the purpose of using the camera’s motion and natural shake. We will be tracking the footage and saving the data to use as camera animation in After Effects. We will also take a look at how we can save this effect as a preset for future projects.
