Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring is the English title of the 10th movement of the cantata Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben, composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Today, it is often performed at wedding ceremonies slowly and reverently.

Known as the Bach-Gounod version, his Ave Maria (1859) consists of a melody superimposed over the Prelude No. 1 composed by J. S. Bach some 137 years earlier. Soft and delicate version. A Holiday Season favorite as well.
