It\u2019s different, innovative, and most probably necessary, for sure. This new import page better streamlines uploading media clips from multiple locations at once, as well as speeding up the import process, overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a much more visual format as you can select clips and other assets (including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.premiumbeat.com\/blog\/helpful-audio-recording-tips\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">audio<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.premiumbeat.com\/blog\/pick-whip-adobe-after-effects\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">graphics<\/a>) by browsing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shutterstock.com\/blog\/create-custom-youtube-thumbnails\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">thumbnails<\/a>. You can also review these assets in the media uploader by simply hovering and scrubbing over the individual clips.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From Adobe, here&#8217;s the full eight-step process to creating a new project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In the <strong>left-hand column<\/strong>, navigate to your <strong>media storage location<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Select<\/strong> the <strong>storage location<\/strong>. Your media is presented on the <strong>Import<\/strong> desktop.<\/li><li>The <strong>file path<\/strong> for the current storage location is displayed at the <strong>top<\/strong> of the <strong>window<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Select <strong>video clips<\/strong> and other <strong>media assets<\/strong> to add to your project.<\/li><li>As you choose your media, <strong>thumbnails<\/strong> of each asset are collected in the <strong>Selection Tray<\/strong> at the <strong>bottom<\/strong> of the <strong>Import<\/strong> window.
