Along with the introduction of of Launch Now, Kickstarter unveiled some simplified rules for projects looking for funding. The three rules are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Projects must create something to share with others.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Projects must be honest and clearly presented.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Projects cannot fundraise for charity, offer financial incentives, or involve <a title=\"Prohibited Items\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/rules\/prohibited\" target=\"_blank\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">prohibited items<\/a>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The three rules are a simplification of Kickstarters <a title=\"More Detailed Rules\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/rules\" target=\"_blank\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">more detailed rules<\/a> and will hopefully make crowdsourcing\u00a0available to a wider array of projects (<a title=\"Energy Drinks\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/rules\/prohibited\" target=\"_blank\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">except energy drinks<\/a>\u00a0and other &#8216;vice&#8217; products).<\/p>\n<p>For those interested in using the Launch Now feature there are a few things you must know. First the Launch Now feature uses an algorithm to determine if your project is ready to be released. Things like <strong>description, rewards, funding goal<\/strong>, and whether a creator has previously launched a project will all determine how qualified a project is for the Launch Now feature. However, the Launch Now feature <strong>isn\u2019t mandatory<\/strong>. If a user want a Kickstarter community manager to review their project they can do so for free, just as before.<\/p>\n<p>An additional feature added this week gives backers the ability to get multiple quantities of a single reward.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/pbblogassets\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Kickstarter-NOW.png\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-41532\" title=\"Kickstarter NOW\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/pbblogassets\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Kickstarter-NOW.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"420\" height=\"262\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Launch Now feature doesn\u2019t cost any extra money and is available today to <strong>60% of Kickstarter projects,<\/strong> with more being accepted in the weeks to come.
