There are tons of drone videos online, but\u00a0many of these suffer from the same problems… shaky shots\u00a0or excessive fisheye footage. Here are some tips to get much more cinematic footage out of your drone.<\/p>\n

1. Plan Each Shot Well Before Takeoff<\/h3>\n

The average consumer drone battery life is around 13-18 minutes. By the time you go airborne and check your camera settings, you may already be down to 10 minutes of actual flight time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It’s really important to plan your shots before taking off<\/strong>. Know your starting point, and where your next waypoint is. If there are actors in the scene, be sure to go over the shot in detail. Let them know exactly where they need to be and when.<\/p>\n

If you are planning a very complex shoot, be sure to have plenty of extra batteries<\/strong> and a charging station handy.<\/p>\n
