Premiere Pro Shortcuts: J,K, and L<\/h3>\n

If you have any experience editing video, then you’re most likely already familiar with these three. The J<\/strong>,K<\/strong>, and L<\/strong> keys are your playback or SHUTTLE controls.<\/p>\n

L<\/strong> is play. If you press L<\/strong> several times, your video will playback at a faster speed.\u00a0K<\/strong> is stop.\u00a0J<\/strong>\u00a0plays your video in reverse. Just as with L<\/strong>, if you press J<\/strong> several times your reverse playback speed will increase.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll find yourself using this shortcut a lot if you have bad vision or you\u2019re editing on a small laptop.<\/p>\n
