Since the earliest days of cinema, filmmakers have\u00a0found creative ways to incorporate cats of all types\u00a0into their films. Here are some of the most\u00a0famous felines throughout film history.<\/h2>\n

Truth be told,\u00a0I\u2019m not really a cat person<\/span>. I\u2019m actually quite allergic to them, which has built up a\u00a0steady amount of resentment\u00a0to real-life felines<\/span>\u00a0regardless of how\u00a0friendly or adorable<\/span>\u00a0they may be.<\/p>\n

Still, I am quite fond of them when I see them on\u00a0television or film or in videos online<\/span>. It might be because of my age and the fact that I identify with an internet culture that seems to universally share an over-the-top fondness<\/strong> for scaring them<\/a> or putting into boxes where they can\u2019t quite fit<\/a>. Or, it might be because they\u2019re just downright adorable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Regardless, when looking back to the earliest days of cinema<\/strong>, it wasn\u2019t much of a surprise to learn that cats have been popping up and used quite regularly<\/strong> (and consistently) throughout film history. It’s interesting to see how filmmakers have (at times) struggled with and creatively innovated ways to capture and portray cats in their films.<\/strong><\/p>\n
