Hot on the heels of the recently released X-T2, Fujifilm is back at it again with the massive new GFX 50S mirrorless camera.<\/h2>\n

Fujifilm’s\u00a0upcoming GFX 50S<\/strong><\/a> features a G Format sensor \u2014 which happens to be 70% larger than the 35mm format<\/strong>. The massive sensor pushes\u00a0this camera to front of the pack, offering an extreme boost in quality for mirrorless cameras.<\/p>\n

As far as competitors go, the Hasselblad X1D <\/a>is really the only camera in play \u2014 until you take pricing into account. The GFX<\/strong> is rumored to be significantly cheaper than the $10,000 Hasselblad, and it comes\u00a0with a 63mm prime. Expect the\u00a0GFX 50S<\/strong> to be released in early 2017.<\/p>\n

The new camera will officially be called the GFX 50S. <\/strong>It\u00a0<\/strong>will have a battery booster pack available as well. The camera also\u00a0has a detachable viewfinder, plus a vertically tilted display screen on its back. With a 51.4 megapixel resolution<\/strong>, this new camera will also feature brand new lenses.
