I, like many of you, switched to Premiere<\/strong> at the release of FCPX<\/a>. I had been using Final Cut<\/strong> for a few years at that point. Then FCPX<\/strong> came around and had too many quirks and missing features. I tried it out for a month or so but\u00a0I, like many others, abandoned ship and went to Premiere.<\/strong><\/p>\n Then, within this last year, it seems like Apple has brought FCPX<\/strong> back from the dead, especially with the latest 10.3 release<\/a>. I’ve casually spent the last few months\u00a0reading a lot of articles and seeing videos of the improvements. Through all of this, I\u2019ve been considering hopping back on the FCP bandwagon.<\/strong><\/p>\n You can read a fantastic article about all of the latest updates\u00a0here<\/a>. I’ll walk you through a few of my main points and reasons for considering a switch.<\/strong><\/p>\n I\u2019ve read\u00a0multiple articles and watched a lot videos within the last year of\u00a0editors who are praising FCPX.<\/strong> One of those articles<\/a> is a feature on Apple\u2019s website about the film Focus<\/a><\/em>\u00a0and how it was edited using FCPX.<\/strong> This was the first article and \u201creview\u201d I read that really started to jump out at me. If a major Hollywood film was cut using FCPX,<\/strong> then it will definitely work for my needs.
