Studios are starting to\u00a0bank on this idea\u00a0and are, for the most part, seeing\u00a0fantastic results \u2014 both critically and commercially. With examples\u00a0like Jurassic World<\/a><\/em>, Star Wars: Episode VIII \u2014 The Last Jedi<\/a><\/em> and\u00a0Thor: Ragnarok<\/a><\/em>, small-time directors now have the opportunity to head big productions.\u00a0Let’s take a look at some directors to keep your eye on.<\/p>\n

Hiro Murai<\/a><\/h3>\n

Perhaps the best working director you’ve never heard of is Hiro Murai. After directing seven episodes of the recent Golden Globe-winning<\/a> series Atlanta<\/a><\/em>, Murai also directed an episode of the latest X-Men spinoff series, Legion<\/a><\/em>. Given each show’s reception, Murai’s ascension to the director’s chair on bigger and bolder projects is imminent.
