So I took a cue from <a href=\"http:\/\/gizmodo.com\/5229743\/megan-fox-esquire-cover-shot-in-video-not-stills\" target=\"_blank\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Greg Williams&#8217;s photoshoot of Megan Fox <\/a>for <em>Esquire \u2014<\/em>\u00a0he\u00a0used the RED ONE and continuous lighting. Williams&#8217;s shoot\u00a0was a few years ago when the luxury of pulling a 4K still required\u00a0professional cinema cameras. You can now do this with the <strong>Gh4<\/strong> and many other <strong>mirrorless and DSLR cameras<\/strong>. One light needs to be a\u00a0<strong>rim light<\/strong> to separate your subject from the background, which is probably the most important part of this process. Your other light is a <strong>single key light<\/strong>. You can\u00a0set this up for <strong>chiaroscuro lighting<\/strong>, or it can be a <strong>\u00be frontal key light<\/strong>. Ultimately, it&#8217;s your choice. However, the idea is that you only want <strong>one light to illuminate your subject<\/strong>. Remember, if you\u2019re just filming at <strong>24fps<\/strong>, you\u2019re getting 24 photographs to work from in just one second. However, you do need to be careful to <strong>avoid\u00a0motion blur<\/strong> at this frame rate. Primarily, I&#8217;ll be <strong>adding contrast and color correcting the image<\/strong>, even though it will later become black and white.
