On December 12, 1997, Amarillo, TX native and punk rocker\u00a0Brian Deneke<\/a> was murdered in a deliberate hit-and-run attack. The events\u00a0both before and after this attack are steeped in controversy and vitriol, and the news of the murder and the associated controversy quickly rippled across the entire state of Texas \u2014 as well as punk\/skater groups\u00a0nationwide.<\/p>\n

The film Bomb City<\/a><\/em>, directed by Jameson Brooks<\/a>\u00a0(who also co-wrote the film with composer Sheldon Chick<\/a>), tells the story of this murder\u00a0and the questionable actions of the justice system to reprimand it.<\/p>\n
