Pitanga Fina is a collaboration between Brazilian-American vocalist and songwriter Alexia Bomtempo and DO Sounds, the NYC/London-based production duo of Jake Owen and Andy Dollerson. Often featuring top-tier Brazilian percussion talent, their tracks bring Alexia's beachside Bossa Nova roots smoothly into the 21st century. BlackBook Magazine has said, “Alexia cultivated a unique, confidently feminine sound,” and Suspiro, Alexia’s 2020 studio album, co-produced by Jake, was “definitely a candidate for Latin Album of the Year for me” according to NPR’s Ernesto Lechner (The Latin Alternative).
