Jon Ong is a Singaporean composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles with over 11 years of experience in film, TV, and commercials. Most recently, Jon served as the composer of the 2023 Sundance Film Festival official selection The Accidental Getaway Driver; and he has created additional music for films such as Paddington; Love The Coopers; Whiskey Tango Foxtrot; Chain; 17 Blocks; as well as TV series such as Hulu's Dopesick; Amazon's The Wheel of Time; Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events; Peacock's Joe vs. Carole; and HBO's Pennyworth and His Dark Materials. Beyond film and TV, Jon has also composed music for national commercials for such companies as McDonald's and Nickelodeon. Jon has risen through the ranks of the film scoring world in Los Angeles and has worked with renowned composers such as Lorne Balfe, Nick Urata, and William Ross.
