As soon as your transaction has been processed you are immediately transferred to your download page. Additionally a link is automatically sent to the email address you provided. If you did not receive the download instructions by email please check your "Junk" or "Spam" folder - it may have landed there. Also if you are a premiumbeat.com member you can retrieve the download link in your account as well.

Most people receive our e-mail within a few minutes. If you have not received a message with a download link within 20 minutes of your purchase, please Contact us. We will rectify the situation as quickly as possible.
I paid for your products but there is an extra fee of $.75 or $.90 on my credit card statement. Why?
Yes we are aware of that but it t does not come from us. We at premiumbeat.com never charge or receive any additional fees. What you pay us is the amount you see on your screen when you purchase our products.
This extra fee of $.75 or $.90 cents is a “Foreign transaction fee” charged by the bank that issued your credit card. A number of US banks have a policy of adding a fee to the transaction if the seller is located outside the USA (we are located in Canada) even if the purchase is made in US$. This fee varies and can be between 0% and 3% depending on the credit card you are using.

I received a notice from YouTube that the music I bought from PremiumBeat belongs to a third party. What do I do?
Firstly, we apologize if this happens to you. We can assure you that all our music is 100% copyright clear. Using our music with a purchased license is 100% legal, and you are not doing anything wrong.
Classical music has a higher risk of being misidentified by YouTube software since the composition remains the same; only the masters (the actual interpretation or recording) are different. A Mozart piece by Olive Musique (what you get from us) can be misidentified as the same music by Mozart interpreted by a different Orchestra that may belong to Sony, for example.
Unfortunately, false or mistaken copyright claims are a known issue with YouTube and music libraries. The most efficient response is to simply counter the claim with your PremiumBeat license. The claim will then be dropped. You can read more about making a counter notification here: http://www.youtube.com/t/copyright_counter
Please note that your PremiumBeat license does NOT allow you to upload your project to YouTube’s Content ID. PremiumBeat retains ownership of the Recording. Due to the nature of YouTube’s content recognition software, uploading PremiumBeat music to Content ID – even as background music to your project – will cause mistaken copyright claims for other users and/or prevent you from uploading your content.
If you have more questions about the YouTube claim process, please contact us.

This means that after paying a one-time fee you can use the music you’ve purchased as many times as you wish for as long as you like in accordance with the terms stated in the license agreement. You never have to pay us any additional license fees based on usage.

Are there restrictions on the transfer of music obtained from Premiumbeat.com?
Yes. The license permits usage of the music in a personal or professional context for yourself, your clients or your employer. Premiumbeat.com music may not be sold by itself, transferred, bartered, traded, shared, leased, or given away to any other party and the license may not be subleased to a third party. Music cannot be resold except to the extent that is embedded in your own work as part of a finished end product. You may not market the music as your own even if you add other instruments or a voice to the music. You may not sing over the music and sell or distribute the song unless it is strictly for a presentation or a demo. The above also applies to any music Premiumbeat.com may offer free of charge on our Website. Please see the license agreement for further information. If uncertain please ask at [email protected].
What about Performing Rights and Cue-sheets?
For TV productions, in order to collect performing rights, cue-sheets must be filed with the appropriate performing rights organizations. See: http://www.premiumbeat.com/cuesheets
Does the music I buy belong to me?
No. You do not actually own the music. The copyright to the music remains the property of the composer. Purchasing a license only allows you to use the music for your projects and purposes in accordance with the license agreement.
Can I purchase music from your site, sing my songs or play guitar over it and sell my album?
The short answer is: No you cannot do that. This is not allowed.
We are a "Production Music" Library. Our music is available for licensing in Media Productions (websites, videos, DVDs, TV broadcast, films, games, etc.) as background music synchronized with your production. You cannot sing over the music track or add an instrument and market the results as your own "Product", as your music or as your song, even if it has been transformed or edited, or if you add other instruments or vocals to the music. This called a "Derivative Work" and it is not allowed. Premiumbeat.com always owns the Copyright of the music composition and recording. If you are adding vocals or playing an instrument over the music to show your talent to producers - this is considered a "demo" usage and it is included with the standard license. But you cannot sell the resulting recording.
If you are using the music to add your voice for an audio-book, story telling, hypnotherapy, guided meditation, self-help programs or any kind of narration this is completely allowed and you are welcome to use our music for that purpose. The difference is that the music is used as a background for a product that is not marketed as a "song" or a musical product. The purpose of the music is not altered in any way and the copyright of the music remains clearly and entirely in the hands of the music writer and the publisher. Please note that if you distribute or sell more than 1,000 copies of your media production you will need a Mass Duplication license.
Can I buy Premiumbeat.com music anywhere else?
No. All of the music offered by Premiumbeat.com has been created by our team of gifted professional musicians and composers exclusively for Premiumbeat.com. This includes well-known classical music pieces, public domain music, Christmas Carols and Nursery Songs. In these cases, the original copyright has expired and the specific recording and adaptation performed by our musicians is unique. Our musicians own the copyright for their specific adaptation and recording.
Can I return a music file and get a refund?
Once you have purchased and downloaded a music file, Premiumbeat.com cannot offer a refund unless an error has occurred.
How am I allowed to use the Sound Effects I purchase from Premiumbeat.com?
In a nutshell you can use and reuse the Sound Effects for any projects where the SFX files are embedded in the product without ever having to pay any additional fees. You are purchasing a non-exclusive non-transferable perpetual license for yourself or your organisation.
The limitations of use are as follow: you may not sell, transfer, share, give away or sublease the license agreement or the Recordings to any other party. You may not resell the Recording by itself or as part of a package except as embodied within your own Project. You may not resell the Recording (or otherwise make it available) within a downloadable template where someone would be able to download the sound file as a separate file, such as in e-card templates or a website templates. You may not resell the Recording (or otherwise make it available) individually or as part of any competing product such as Sound Effects compilation or Sound Effects library. You may not resell the Recording (or otherwise make it available) as your own Sound Effects, even if it has been transformed, modified, remixed or edited in any way, or if you add other instruments or a voice to the sound effects.

Our music is provided in a superior CD quality .wav format as well as in MP3 format for complete flexibility.
