Pavane in F-sharp minor, Op. 50 by Faure

Gabriel Faure's "Pavane in F-sharp minor," Op. 50, a French Romantic orchestral work that recalls the grace of a stately courtly dance. Flowing woodwinds, wistful strings and delicate pizzicato accompaniment create an elegant, reflective atmosphere for intimate period drama, graceful processions and tender scenes of longing.
