Ryan grew up in rural Alberta and started writing and recording music when he was 16 with a 4-track tape recorder. His first brush with scoring was writing music for the Big Rock Eddies, an annual short film contest for an Alberta brewery. A few years later he found his way to Toronto and enrolled in music producing and recording engineering at the Harris Institute. For the past 9 years he has been composing music for TV, commercials, video games and short films. Ryan is always interested in new projects that will challenge and inspire him.
