Mars (From The Planets Suite) Holst

Gustav Holst's "Mars, the Bringer of War" opens The Planets, an orchestral suite inspired by astrological characters. Foreboding repeated rhythms, aggressive brass, strings and percussion drive this live performance, creating a tense, epic atmosphere for conflict, looming danger and dramatic action.
