Honey Side Up is the new moniker of Montreal artist Honeydrip, a DJ, producer, and sound system builder. Her music is driven by rhythm, texture, and emotional energy, often exploring grit, groove, and poignant melodies. Each piece is built with movement in mind, shaped by her deep connection to low-end frequencies and sound systems. As Honeydrip, she has performed internationally alongside artists such as Overmono, SOPHIE, Earl Sweatshirt, and dBridge. Her influences reach into dub, reggae, dancehall, and experimental electronic music, reimagined through her own personal style. As part of her ethos, she founded a collective that teaches women and queer artists how to build and run sound systems, creating access to both the technical and creative sides of sound culture. Honey Side Up is an extension of that same energy, offering music that carries weight, feeling, and intention, making her work a natural fit for film, fashion, editorial, and branded content.
