Step 1: Layer your Clips

Simply place the first clip over your second clip. If you don’t get the order right, the transition won’t work correctly.

Step 2: Add the Transition

Place your desired transition footage on top of the first clip. Move the clip all the way to the very end of the footage.

Step 3: Set the Luma Matte

Click on the small box next to your blending modes and set the track matte to Luma Matte Inverted. This will activate the transition. You can now preview and export your footage.
