How can I protect my client’s YouTube video from copyright claims?

Our Standard, Premium, and Business Licenses provide all the rights you need to use PremiumBeat music in client work on YouTube.

(Note: The Creator License is for personal use only and doesn’t cover client work.)

Whenever you license a track on PremiumBeat, we provide a YouTube Monetization ID. You can find this ID by going to the Order Details page for the track.

Make sure your client includes this YouTube Monetization ID in their YouTube video description to avoid getting a copyright claim for that video.

Each YouTube Monetization ID covers up to 5 YouTube videos. Depending on your license type, you can monetize a different number of channels:

• Creator License – 1 channel (not for client use)

• Standard License – 5 channels

• Premium License – Unlimited channels

• Business License – Unlimited channels

To help protect your client’s YouTube videos when using subscription-licensed assets, you can allowlist their YouTube channels directly from your Plans page.

This prevents copyright claims automatically—no YouTube Monetization ID needed.

Here’s how to allowlist a client’s channel:

1. Log in to your PremiumBeat account

2. Visit the Plans page

3. Add your client’s YouTube channel ID to the allowlist

4. That channel will then be protected from Content ID claims on videos that use music or SFX from your subscription

Depending on your subscription tier:

• Creator Subscription – 1 allowlisted channel at a time (not for client use)

• Standard Subscription – Up to 5 allowlisted channels

Note: If you’ve already used all your available allowlist slots and need to protect a new client’s channel, you’ll need to remove an existing channel to make space.

Important: Make sure your client’s channel is added to the allowlist before uploading the video to avoid claims.
